Hello Blogger world. I'm Philip Morton, a Creative Sound Student studying in my Fourth Year at Abertay University, Dundee.
As a fourth year student I am entering the year of my Honours Project, a year long project backed up by my dissertation that will show extensive research and practical work. This blog is to document all ongoing work for this year and to show the progression that I am making as I go from research to execution.
Please read the blog for full details on my project but in a nutshell it is an idea based on musical character themes in film, how they develop and how they possess character traits for us to recognise, sympathise or change with.
My previous work has seen me write music and produce audio for various games that have seen release on both the apple app store and android store and short films that have been showcased in local film festivals.
